How does it perform in the snow and wind?Updated 6 months ago

All of our tents are true 4-season tents and are built to much higher standards and use much heavier duty materials than even heavy-duty ground tents. Additionally, the tent is bolted right to the roof of your car instead of held in the ground by tiny stakes.

If you know you're going to be in especially windy conditions, it's best orient your setup with the shell taking the brunt of the wind.  In snowy conditions, be aware of snow build-up on the top of the tent.  Wet snow especially can get very heavy very quickly.  A set of mechanical strut locks are recommend in these instances to give you struts some extra help.
